York Cruiser Training Centre (YCTC) promotes safe and enjoyable boating in all disciplines. We offer the opportunity to learn and/or to increase your skills with a range of RYA-approved shore-based courses in the York area.
We welcome people of all abilities and all types of watersports to join us, meet other like-minded people, and get involved. You can either take your current interests to the next level or find contacts to try something completely different.
We don't mind if you have never been on a boat before - or if you've sailed around the world single-handed, rowed in the Olympics, or paddle-boarded across the channel - everyone is welcome. If you have done any of these, we might ask you to do a talk on it!
Why not join us for an informal chat at one of our monthly social events? We often have guest speakers or have less formal events to simply get to know people.
